Last weekend we took the kids to the Del Mar Fair. At the entrance was the vintage car show which we always have to walk through. Here are a few of our favorite cars ...
We gave the kids their handfuls of ride tickets, cell phone, and told them to text us in an hour to check in. Mark and I went off and looked at the product booths, got lunch, and watched the interesting assortment of people. Once we met up with the kids, we went to see the clay mask that Connor had entered into the art exhibit. He got third prize this year and was quick to admit this year's entry wasn't as good as the one he did last year!
We also saw a new exhibit this year that was a visual tour of Texas. In honor of our dear friends, the Spillane's, we did it! The consensus was that it wasn't very good! Can't help but wonder if this is an attempt to improve the tourist trade or increase the state's population!
