Connor's goal and good visit with Ryan

Connor has been doing Box Lacrosse the last two weeks for the first time. It's very different from "normal" lacrosse and he's loving it. He was excited to tell me that he got a goal while playing with the JV team today after his age group was finished! Not bad for a kid who was annoyed when Mark told him he was going to stay and play rather than go right home!

Today's visit with Ryan was great. He opened up to the guys and addressed some of the issues he's not talked about previously plus he doesn't have to have support around the house as he's been there 90 days now. (This means that someone senior to him didn't have to chaperone him while we are visiting; only if we go out does another house member go with us.) Amazing how much easier it made the visit! I also did a puppy training class for the guys as their poor puppy was paying the price for lack of leadership and continuity among the 20+ guys. Now they have a schedule and are excited to show me next week what they teach her and how well she'll be doing. I was proud of them.

Tomorrow is church and two weeks worth of laundry...how did I let that happen?! Plus clean up the odds and ends of last week's cleaning of the kids' bedrooms.
